The Pub Tampa Bay will host a Royal Wedding celebration on Friday, April 29th beginning at 6:00am.  The Pub will air the live coverage of the Royal Wedding throughout the morning and there will be a complimentary champagne toast and wedding cake following the ceremony.  In addition, the Pub’s weekend brunch menu will be offered from 6am-11am.

The Royal Couple has requested that wedding guests make a charitable contribution in their name in lieu of gifts.  Inspired by this request, The Pub Tampa Bay will be collecting food donations for Feeding America Tampa Bay.  Pub Patrons are encouraged to bring canned goods or boxed food items when they visit The Pub and all area residents are welcome to drop off a food donation during regular Pub business hours.  A list of the most needed items can be found online at ExperienceThePub.com.

“The Pub was inspired by my love of British culture and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to celebrate this historical moment with our patrons,” says Nick Sanders, owner.  “We feel that the best way to honor the Royal Couple is to give back to our community and I hope our efforts will help in the fight to end hunger in our community”. 

Feeding America Tampa Bay is a member of the Feeding America food bank network, the largest domestic hunger relief organization in the United States.  Feeding America Tampa Bay is partnered with over 600 charities and churches that distribute this food to the hungry in West Central Florida through their pantry and soup kitchen programs.  Through this network of partner agencies, the food bank dispenses the equivalent of over 250,000 meals for the hungry each week.  Since it began in 1982, the food bank has distributed over 150 million pounds of food.
